Hereditary Sensory Autonomic Neuropathy

It is quite possible you have never heard of hereditary sensory autonomic neuropathy. It also sounds very medical and scientific. However, this rare decease can be very scary and may be even deadly. There are five different types of hereditary sensory and autonomic neuropathies. They all have in common that they appear in the infancy or some time in the childhood. They cause loss of peripheral sensory nerves. In simple words, the effected nerves cannot send correct pulses to the brain due to some blockage in the nerve passage. That results in losing the feeling predominantly in the limbs, some people deal with bad unexplained pain. The decease is treated with prescription drugs that do more damage to the body then the decease itself.
