Easter is really a unique time of year. I can remember fond memories associated with Easters past whenever my dad and mom will hide brightly colored eggs within the backyard and send my sisters and me to find them. What joy all of us had running in and around the backyard, hunting throughout every nook and cranny for the eggs all of us had hand decorated alongside each other as a family.
As I remember, whoever found the most often received a unique gift, often a dollar or two. This was a lot of money to us kids in those times. Following the hunt, we would eat dinner jointly and then my mom and dad would present each of us an Easter basket.
Today, nonetheless, I make Easter gift baskets to my kids, my brothers and sisters, as well as close friends every year at this time. They’re excellent for the children and the grownups all cherish them also because, like me, they will remember the enjoyment of having an Easter basket.
